Never a dull moment on Christmas Vacation!

What can I say about an unplanned Christmas vacation
? For someone that is a natural planner, I finally gave in and said "let it go." No, not like the movie song from Frozen....LOL So in the letting go process I may have just given in to more fun and more road time but it's been worth it.....Things I've learned on the roadtrip called Christmas

1. Even though I left my beloved San Antonio and traded it in for the Ranch Life (dreams do come true) there are three fabulous places that always make me feel at home and enjoy some shopping experiences-Make sure and stop by my top 3 places in SA

Pinky's (say hi to Pinky for me) http://www.pinkys-boutique.com/

Lee Lee's (say hi to Lee for me) for shoes and handbags http://www.leeleeshoes.com/

Nativa http://www.nativashop.com/
(because who doesn't need a Mexican Christmas dress?)

2.  There's some amazing food to be had in San Antonio!

Stop by and say hi to my friends at Main Street Pizza and Pasta
http://mainstreetsa.com/  (Tell Ernie and Jerry Ali sent you for the VIP treatment)

and I'm so proud of my new friend Carino Cortez for her latest endeavor in the foodie world

http://www.vivavillatacos.com/
Tell Carino I sent you and ask for her recommendations!

3. Life isn't about a plan-its about letting go and seeing what happens :)

I have been blessed to see many loved ones during this Holiday Season so my travels have taken me to Hebbronville (my number 1 spot on the map), Kingsville, and back and forth to San Antonio........

Everyone has been so gracious to send me their family Christmas shots so I figured I needed to add in my picture with my Santa :)

I've learned when you let go, you have more fun! Do what you want, say what you want and make sure to tell your loved ones how much you love them and most importantly show them. Actions do speak louder than words......

  1. I love love love your outfit. Both you and your father look great. I've learned that most of the times the unplanned is the most fun to experience.

I'm sure that your back and forth travel from Laredo to San Antonio already feels like nothing and your time flies! I still cannot get used to the stretch between Laredo and San Antonio though. So much emptiness that unless I am driving I tend to fall asleep!
